Purpose of award: To help those who have served in the military with their education and make the transition from military to civilian life.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be active duty members or honorably discharged veterans of a United States military service branch, have financial need and plan to attend one of the 500 participating career colleges. There is a list of career colleges on the website. Before applying, the applicant selects a career college and program of study. The application is sent electronically to the career college, and the career college notifies the applicant if an award is available.
