Purpose of award: To encourage students to learn more about the Revolutionary War and its impact on modern America.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must prepare a speech of five to six minutes on some aspect of the Revolutionary War. The contest is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors at public, private and parochial high schools, as well as home-schooled students. Eligibility for the national contest is determined by contests on the state and local levelsTarget applicant: High school students
